can be assembled by a 70 year old woman

You may need help carrying the box, but once opened and pieces removed, it is manageable with regard to the weight. Did the job on my kitchen counter, with the table upside down. Don't tighten the screws until the whole thing is assembled. You will need a pair of pliers for two scres/bolts. Their wrench doesn't cut it. Very sturdy, fits my need for a couch table where visitors can have their suitcases - cheaper than two luggage racks - room for a wine rack on the lower shelf. would buy again - even though not fine furniture. Total time spent was about 30 minutes.
