Review on 🎧 Phaiser BHS-530 Wireless Earbuds for Running - Bluetooth Sport Headset with Mic, Blackout by Eric Power

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Overall great headphones for the price.

I was looking for a pair of Bluetooth wireless headphones with a stable signal, good range and sufficient volume. I also wanted a pair with this design as a wired pair with controls in the middle was cumbersome to use on the go and I'm always nervous that tugging on this part will short out the wire - something WIRELESS headphone users never have to bother with deal with. Other than that I'm very happy with them, except for one area, but I'll cover it below: (Tested on iPhone 6) GOOD: - comfortable fit - intuitive Bluetooth-inspired controls - good functionality/button options - high - quality microphone for hands-free calling - Blocks out external noise well - Higher volume range is nice and loud - Long range - Good battery life/short charging time - Nice extras in the package Mind you, these things are inexpensive. Chances are you'll find better options on the list if you pay more, but when you're talking about the full package at the advertised price, this one beats many of its competitors. I was particularly impressed with how well this set works as a speakerphone. Usually your sports headphones don't come with a great microphone, which is a shame when you're trying to take a call on the run and have to stop and yell. No issues with this set (I haven't tested it in windy conditions so I'm not sure if the mic picks up the wind and interferes with the call). The button design on the right earbud is pretty outstanding too, as there are only three buttons and they're well separated - the main function at the top and the volume +/- at the bottom. Fingers are easy to understand. I also like the functionality the buttons provide. Quickly double-tap the volume buttons to skip tracks, single-tap the function button to play/pause, and double-tap to activate phone commands - especially useful for hands-free calls/commands. This set surprised me at how well it could keep external noise at bay and how it was even in the mid-low range - you don't have to risk deafening yourself for an immersive sound that cancels out external noise, but if you want this set is fully capable and how loud it can get. Range is listed as 33 feet - at higher battery levels I'd say it's closer to 50 outdoors and 35 through normal house walls. Once the battery is halved it does drop a bit, but if you're about 20 feet away it's fine regardless of battery life. Speaking of the battery; The lifespan of this thing is outstanding and the standby lifespan is great too. I love that the set also tells you the battery life at launch. The included items are a nice mix of your standard stuff and some extras - I particularly liked the ear tips as did the inserts which are great when you are REALLY immersed in the action and don't have to worry about the set shifting around you. when you're active and your head is spinning. All in all great features in a functional set that serves its purpose in sports and also makes a great headset replacement. to get a good fit every time you put them on. It's comfortable once you're done, but can be tricky to get to - twist the earbuds and wiggle the back a few times to ensure a snug fit. The next is huge: it lacks sound quality and this is where a star is deducted for an otherwise excellent product. The mids are too high and make certain music difficult to hear. In addition, some low frequencies make the bass sound fuzzy or too soft. I have very eclectic tastes in music and while I'm not a total audiophile I expect the products I buy for sound to have good sound quality in this department and I think that should be the focus - everything else from there is a feature or addition to the Sound Producing Product. For the price, the sound is tolerable and I really like the hands-free function, as well as the fact that I can use this sports device for both music and hands-free calls. Because of this, it has become a replacement for both my sports device and my Bluetooth car kit, which is why I give it 4 stars. The sound itself is not BAD. The QUALITY sound is just missing a few frequencies, but for the casual listener or non-hip hop fan these are good sports headphones with other great features not to be missed if you're interested in consolidating your speakerphone. and sports gear at a great price.
