Review on Dorman 926 321 Odometer Drive Gear by Anthony Parker

IT WORKS OUT! :) Electrician

I wasn't sure why my odometer wasn't working on my 98 F-250. They asked my mechanic for $200 to fix it and I honestly didn't want to put that much money into an old truck. I googled and found a video of Crisfix on YouTube that helped me figure out what's going on. And sure enough, after I disassembled it, the worm gear was broken inside. (it took no more than 40 minutes to lift the cluster out of the truck and disassemble it with all the necessary tools. You'll need a 9/32 hex wrench, a flathead screwdriver (to pry things open) and T-15, T- 10) The Dorman worm gear is a very tight fit, but don't be afraid to push it in. Believe me. I put everything back together and honestly didn't think it would work, started the truck, drove off and BOOM! The ODOMETER comes back to life! Definitely worth the $25.54 and the hour and a half I spent fixing it.
