I just replaced thermal curtains with what was supposed to be more thermal curtains. Spoiler Alert: they're not thermal. I went to sit at a table that I sit at regularly and felt the heat emanating from the windows. Mind you these windows are south facing, so I use thermal curtains to block out the extra heat and save on energy costs. I brought out my heat gun to test the temperature radiating from the windows. It clocked in at 106.3°F while 77°F outside.The curtains are lightweight, color is great, fits the look I was going for, just wrongly advertised at thermal. These are not suitable for what I need and will be going back.
