They were very affordable so I have to keep my expectations in check. So far they have worked great and prevented my feet from being cut on the rocks when walking in the creeks. They're also tight enough around the ankles to keep sand out. Love it! The only downside was that the insole came off and started slipping after the first wear. I glued them on with shoe glue and they are like new. After the third time I noticed some wear where my big toenail rubs on the tip and it wears down. But maybe it's just because it suits me. However, given the price, I would recommend it. Just maybe not for everyday use in harsh conditions.
