I have used fuelphp for my last project where i had to develop an application that was totally new with no code available in market place (at least not one which could be easily integrated). It has been very easy so far working around this platform as it makes development process much easier than other platforms out there. The documentation are also quite good but if you don't know how things work then its hard getting started without any help from someone who knows what they're doing. If your looking into developing something quick or small scale go ahead otherwise spend more time researching about alternatives like Yii2 etc before going forward. We were trying to build our own social networking site using php/mysql stack of technology and we wanted to give users ability to create their profiles by uploading images along-with some basic information such as age gender location education qualifications.
