We had transitioned to a more 'non-toxic' approach to washing and needed an alternative to our old detergent. After a long trial and error, the bioclinic turned out to be the winner. I love that they offer it unscented, but even citrus has a very mild scent. It's also a lot cheaper than the traditional big brands you find on regular store shelves. It's very concentrated and the bottle lasts forever. This also works very well. We have found that it is best to soak laundry for 15 minutes and then start the wash cycle. It copes with my smelly workout clothes and gets dirty very well. It also seems to wash out better than traditional detergents. If I have a particularly messy boot, I add some Molly's foam. It took some experimentation before we found the right amount of detergent for our particular washing machine. It also took some getting used to not seeing so much soapy water. I began to associate suds with cleanliness and learned that it doesn't necessarily have to be the case.
