Review on YETI Rambler Bottle Insulated Stainless Storage & Organization by Nhyiraba Wilson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

*faint* I love this thing

I stream and it's always hot in here - around 97 degrees sometimes up to 103 degrees. IN MY ROOM --- it's air conditioning lol. Anyway, for the past few months I've been using a plastic container for water, iced tea, etc. to stay hydrated and chilled. Unfortunately, it got hot with my plastic bottle after about 20 minutes, I was sweating like crazy outside and it wasn't much fun to drink anything. A few days ago I was suddenly struck by lightning. Not literally, but figuratively, and I remembered my cousin telling me about the Yeti, but I really didn't have the money for it. Well I've got it now so I went ahead and bought one with the puff cap already included - I was told by a cousin it would make them better and prettier. I received mine yesterday, washed and used today. So here is a very long review. If you're hesitant, I hope I can convince you to take the plunge and buy it. Durability/Quality: Consider that I'm sitting in my room and streaming. I'm not going to hike or climb mountains or mess with it in my truck. But judging by the feel, look and weight of the bottle, I have a feeling I'll have it for a long time and it will stand the test of time. It's hard at first. There's real weight in that. Second, just by holding it in your hands, you can tell that it is very strong and durable. To sweat or not to sweat: It doesn't sweat at all. Just to be a pain in the ass, I did two tests. A test in my room with iced tea. A test outside in 98 degree weather with iced tea. I opened it regularly every time. no sweat. No trickle. Sweating is annoying (for me) because A) the bottle slips out of my hand. B) All that extra condensation on my controller, desk and I was pretty annoying. I'm sure there's a scientific reason why people hate it too, but I'm not a scientist, just a gamer. (And the author of that annoyingly long but detailed review, lol) Temperature: The really weird thing for me was that I took this and didn't feel the temperature on the outside of the bottle. There was no feeling of heat or cold. This is how it felt when I took it out of the box. What about the inside temperature? Freezing. I actually put iced tea in it for 7 hours, drank regularly (above) and after 7 hours I actually had a chill in my brain from being so cold. I dare say that after 7 hours in the Yeti the iced tea was COLDER than it was out of the fridge! It's pretty crazy. Extras: - I love the flap, it definitely simplifies things - Everything included is dishwasher safe - I love the colour. My brand colors are grey, black, white and BLUE. My Yeti is blue :o) - I really like the pen too - The price really wasn't bad considering all the benefits. .
