Review on Zinus Michelle Compack 9-Leg Bed Frame: Sturdy Support for Full Box Spring and Mattress Set, in Sleek Black Design (AZ-SBF-07F) by Tia Moore

I don't know why I didn't see this review in the reviews. The Zenus bed frame is NOT compatible with two different headboards from two main retailers: Wayfair and Target. I'm giving 2 stars because I'm happy with the quality if it could be attached to my headboards. The slots in the Zenus bed frame brackets prevent Wayfair or Target headboard screws from going through. This means you cannot screw the bed frame to the headboard. The slots in the zenus arm are too narrow for the size of the screws that come with each headboard (see photos). I was shocked at such a universal/standard size. I have smaller screws all over the house that fit snugly through the zenus mount slots, but this is useless because the thinner screws don't screw into the pre-drilled holes in the header (obviously if the screws are too thin they just twist in the hole in the headboard). Therefore this bed frame is not universally compatible. I don't understand why I didn't see it in any reviews before buying it. On the plus side, it was very easy to assemble and comes with a nifty ratchet (photo). Overall a disappointing product. Update: I attached the headboards to the studs (which I was planning to do anyway). Then to attach the bed frame I used washers and drywall screws. I drilled new guide holes in the bed frame. I put a washer on my screw (to keep it out of the Zenus mount) and drilled the screws into the legs of the headboard. It worked well, but definitely shouldn't have.
