This is a good electric pencil sharpener. I love that it has an auto stop for kids so they don't sharpen the whole pencil. This is a good feature. The pencil shaving area is quite large which was a big plus for me. It's not as durable as the previous one, but it's quite durable and I'm glad I chose it. It was a good choice, it sharpens very well and is very sharp for a thin pencil point. I sharpened 100 pencils in a row to see how it would hold up and it kept working, didn't jam or freeze and worked just as well on the 100th pencil as it did on the first pencil. Every pencil I've tried (see photo) fits perfectly in the pinhole, no problem. This sharpener holds up well and does its job perfectly!
