Fits perfectly on my Crosstrek although I removed the cross braces so the whole bag could touch the roof. Anyway, I could get one that's a bit bigger, but I was worried because the car is pretty small. Drove from the Midwest to the East Coast, no problem except the extra length of the belt had to be wrapped once to keep it from dangling. It's easy and fairly quick to use/load/attach without any prior knowledge and this bag will definitely protect against heavy rain thanks to the design with heavy velcro straps covering the zipper. I was impressed and glad I made the purchase. Will definitely use it for car trips in the future, especially local campgrounds or the beach. Much more economical and easier to pack than a hard case, but if I ski regularly or need to lock my load I would definitely want a hard case. But for transfers or shorter trips it worked! Also, it was black instead of blue like the picture, so I was happy with that. I definitely rode the whole route at around 75mph and didn't feel any different than usual.
