Works great but only for factory key repairs. I had two repair keys, the original factory key and a spare key I bought from a local locksmith for $135. This worked perfectly for a factory key (note that you have to break the plastic off the metal key to fit the metal key in the small V-shaped bracket). However, the top of the aftermarket key was a different shape, so it didn't work for him. As one of the other reviewers noted, there is a small gap around the bottom of the case when reassembling. To avoid premature failure, I used some super glue to attach the key holder to the front of the case, making it more durable while also allowing the case to be opened up for future battery changes.
