It contains phytonutrients with very beneficial antioxidants. While it's not perfect - none of the "healthier" enteral nutrition products are perfect - it's a big step up from the mediocre standard products. We've tried other "healthy" brands like Nestle Complete and Real Food Blends but had trouble getting them through my wife's gastrostomy. Some of them don't even go through the syringe/bolus when diluted with lots of water! Marla couldn't stand Liquid Hope. Kate Farms formula flows much better and is well tolerated by my wife. She looks a lot better (ie a lot healthier) and has more energy! Highly recommended! Addendum (03/12/20): Update 10/01/2020: Kate Farms has significantly changed this formula (regarding the ratio of MCT oil to LCT oil) without sending letters or giving their customers sufficient notice.
