TERRIBLE PREPARATION! Dense and narrow, but very long!

What a TERRIBLE tight top! My son is 16 months old, weighs 25.5 pounds and usually wears tops in sizes 18-24M and some 2T. The fit guide recommended going one size up between sizes, so we chose 2-3T (when I would normally order a size 18-24M). THIS IS TAAAAAAAAAAAAA! It looks short and boxy in the online picture, but in reality the bodice is very long and narrow, the neckline is unusually wide but narrow, and the sleeves are very long. I could barely pull it over my head even with the buttons on the collar undone! The material is stiff and thin (not fleece lined sweatshirt material at all, more like knitted polyester). I usually throw this in the washer and dryer to soften it, but I'm afraid it would shrink too much and be too tight around his stomach. The sleeves are also very tight, making them funnily bunch up in his armpits with every movement. I think you get what you pay for. If I had known it would fit like this, I would not have ordered it! I don't even know why I'm giving 2 stars. maybe because the ox sign is cute. Thank you for reading! I hope that was helpfulπŸ˜‰ I think you get what you pay for.
