If he really had said mylar when I first read the description I wouldn't have gotten close to him. While it's beautiful, it's terrible. It slides everywhere, if you try to use a rubber mat to keep it in place it slides all over the upper. If you try to use double-sided tape on the edges of the table to keep it in place, it will immediately peel off the tape if you breathe on it the wrong way. Honestly, if you don't have a way to tie it to one place, you run like hell. It's awful and makes the Christmas table saaaaad.
