Turns on but never turns off. UPDATED see below

UPDATE: October 4, 2018 Century has requested an update. The light controlled outdoor landscape lighting each night, turning on and off at a previously problematic 2 hour setting. There were no problems with this device. Upgrade to 4 stars. UPDATE: On July 5th, 2018 Century made available another device that I installed last night that shut down correctly after a 2 hour setup. Upgrade to 3 runs, the upgrade will be made in due course based on the current performance of the product. I have to say that this company is very responsive and took the time to quickly resolve the issue. Thanks very much! ORIGINAL REVIEW in ONE STAR: I need a twilight timer for 8 LED garden lights of 5 watts each, so 40 in total. Bought this based on overly glowing reviews which seem overblown. placed? The product must be activated by light and switched off after N hours. I tested it to make sure it turns on and off, good. Then the light was plugged in, set to two hours, the device/light went on at dusk, great, but should have gone out after 2 hours. Got up around 5am all the lights were still bright then stayed on after the sun came out in the bright afternoon sun until I had to turn them off. Big failure! The timer function is never deactivated and the photocell does not detect sunlight for the next day. It is mystical that the light is switched on, but then switched off neither by the sun sensor nor by the timer. Bad batch maybe? Or maybe a problem with the circuit? Too bad I have other century timers in there, they work fine. I hope to hear back from the manufacturer but will return quickly and switch to another brand. Generally a disappointment.
