It gets VERY hot in straighteners
The plates are nice, wider and longer than a regular straightener. However, this product gets too hot for me. I had to drop it 25 degrees below my normal temperature and it still felt too hot. As usual, I applied a thermal protectant before use, but the hair still smelled burnt. I have medium hair so this might work better for those with very thick or coarse hair. All in all it wasn't for me.
