In general, the kettle is worthy. Works as expected. The only downside is that (aside from being clumsy) after adding hot water to the kettle (which is hot at the moment) and trying to put the lid back on (which is still room temperature/cold when it is briefly rinsed under the tap), there is a chance the lid goes all the way into the kettle and you just put your hand in very hot water. hot water is added. I suspect the kettle has expanded a bit from the heat, so using too much force can cause accidents. (At least it was with me like that). It would probably be better if the design was improved so that the lid couldn't go in.
