I bought this after a total abdominal hysterectomy. I had high hopes that they would be comfortable but unfortunately they are smaller than I expected and shrink even more with washing (also cold and tumble dry). I had to cut them to make them work; and even then they put too much pressure on my stomach and legs. I understand that they are not specifically made for people post-surgery, but I'm sure many people looking for post-surgery panties would benefit from knowing that they don't fit and will shrink with washing. If you just want to buy high waist cotton underwear, that's fine. If you're looking for comfort after a hysterectomy or cesarean, I'd suggest looking elsewhere.
