Matching: I'm 9 and they are perfect. I dry them and they are still fine. Length: like a double ankle sock. between the ankle and the top of the carriage, but closer to the carriage. I wear them as everyday socks and you can't tell they are a bit short which I like because it's summer and so hot. They tower over my 8 inch combat boots like a hand over the ankle. color as in the photo. I love her. Gray goes with almost anything dark, blue goes with blue jeans, navy khakis and brown goes with anything earth tones. I like "brown" a lot (I'm male so I'll stick with the primary colors) and would love to see more of it, as does blue. Very very comfortable. I'm a little thinner than some carriages, but I've had carriages that were the same thickness or a little thinner.
