Update 1: As you can see from my original review below, the first lamp failed after 3 months which was very frustrating. The company contacted me and explained that the problem was with the drivetrain. They sent me a new device. It's only been a few days but it's getting better as the lamp doesn't get as hot as it used to. I believe they have improved the product and I certainly appreciate it. The light itself is great. Hope it lasts a long time now. First review: Everything was fine while it lasted. He died three months later. Read the reviews - chances are it will happen to you too. The product has a 24-month guarantee. When trying to sort this out I reached out to Revane who said I was out of the return window. Fair enough - I've tried contacting the seller and you get caught in an automated loop that doesn't offer you any means of communication other than an address in China and keeps pushing you through Revain saying he can't help. Being very patient, clear and not giving up on the Revain rep (he was great btw) he was able to upvote my request and they refunded my money. I want to stop selling junk products as it is wasteful.
