I've given up on newer Pūr glasses because reviews of newer models have consistently been unfavorable. (eg rough surface, poor fit, broken handle, cracked pitcher) • Selecting a classic pitcher was the right move. Sturdy construction - the lid always fits like new lead reduction filters. (Sold separately) No problem • Water quality with lead reduction filter is GREAT! I've been drinking more water lately than I have in a long time. • Until Pūr fixes the disadvantages of the new type of container – BUY THE CLASSIC.
