* Buy a lead reducing filter in addition to your Classic model.• I have switched from Brita to the Pūr CLASSIC jug. I've given up on newer Pūr glasses because reviews of newer models have consistently been unfavorable. (eg rough surface, poor fit, broken handle, cracked pitcher) • Selecting a classic pitcher was the right move. Sturdy construction - the lid always fits like new lead reduction filters. (Sold separately) No problem • Water quality with lead reduction filter is GREAT! I've been drinking more water lately than I have in a long time. • Until Pūr fixes the disadvantages of the new type of container – BUY THE CLASSIC.
