I love the quality and practicality of this Brocoon vertical stand. As shown in the picture, it supports 2012 15" MacBook Pro, and 2018 13" MacBook Pro is not shown on the back. Use it to connect to a 27" Thunderbolt display. Absolutely no worries about its ability to carry that much weight (over 8.6 pounds). Extremely stable. There is also space for an iPhone on the front panel. Due to my desk layout, do not use a 4 sq. ft. stand. The fully positionable center support rail design makes this stand truly head and shoulders above the rest. Underneath the center rail is a one-piece silicone pad that spans the entire space between the two outer rails . in their standard factory configuration (instead of the standard 2 tiny spacers between the holes as other vendors have a fixed center vertical track). This allowed me to give the 15" MacBook a full pad at the bottom. The bottom of the second 13" MacBook was slightly shorter than full width, but I had a small silicone strip to cover that section. Yes, an extra silicone strip or two would be nice if the seller provided them but what is nicer to have and doesn't detract from the quality of the product the moveable center rail is an amazing design feature I am happy with the purchase I will try to add to the review by I show an enlarged picture of the stand to show the distance!
