in dog training all levels, from From obedience to pets to national assessors for training and certification of K9 workers and this product is DANGEROUS and CANNOT BE TRUSTED. As you can see in the photo this product failed with a crack at the leash attachment point allowing the dog we were training in behavior work to chase a 3 month old puppy surrounded by 3 people. Luckily this dog had no idea what to do when he came to them and the pup was picked up off the ground before he came to them, but this is totally unacceptable! We always use a backup as a safety measure and have always used a different brand before that brand hasn't been restocked for a long time but bought this one as it was the same design we liked. We will NEVER use them again, we will be sure to let everyone know because we are dealing with a lot of behavioral cases and working K9s that can do serious harm if this happens to them. This company should never have used cheap materials on such an important tool and clearly have no idea of the importance of such a tool! This pup may have been killed and the company needs to contact whoever purchased it before anyone or anything is actually bitten or even killed!
