Review on DB Electrical 430-22098 Tilt & Trim Motor: Yamaha F200TXR, F225TXR, LF200TXR, LF225TUR (02-08), F250TUR, F250TXR (06-09), LF250TUR (05-09) - 10865N Compatible/Replacement by Adam Martinez

I bought this trimmer based on the many positive reviews. It looked like a good product out of the box, the wires coming out the top were soldered well and the connections were solid. I painted it Yamaha paint to prevent rusting as some other reviewers mentioned and then "installed it like an idiot" without checking if it worked. Once everything was in place and connected, I pushed the switch and it slowly started to work and then stopped completely. Then I checked the motor for 12V and it started sparking. Needless to say when I called them I am very disappointed in the company and their customer support. I will never buy from them again.
