Etnies don't have to prove anything when it comes to skateboard shoe design: - item is nail proof, doesn't wear out quickly - straps are a really great addition if you don't like hi-tops, but require good - outsole is incredibly grippy (excellent for board control) - cushioning is on par with outsoles I typically use (footprint) - skaters who like a tight boardfeel might not like them because they are well cushioned, but I I don't like vulcs or thin skateboard shoes myself, so of course I tend towards these models. These shoes pack a punch, and I'm also a personal fan of Chris Joslin.
