Bought this for my 3 year old boy after seeing something similar at our pool club. It absorbs water, but that's to be expected; pretty easy to stay afloat. Cars and a realistic moving bike are just a bonus for him. He can't figure out how to get the wheel to move by itself, but eventually he'll figure it out if I show him a few times. The little ramp that slides out for cars doesn't move smoothly and it gets frustrating, but it's really not a cool feature to fuss over. I was impressed with the size and quality of this boat, especially at such a reasonable price. It's too big to play with in our pool, but perfect for a large pool or kids' pool. She eventually became the most desirable toy in our pool and many moms and dads took an interest in her!
