I live in Minnesota and walk my dog twice a day. Minnesota winters can be harsh and today was no exception, with a chilly -12 Fahrenheit this morning. I picked up this product for testing this morning after receiving it in the mail yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. The fleece top kept my head warm and I didn't have to pull on a jacket hood. What impressed me the most was the heat exchanger system. So often wearing a balaclava feels like your nose and mouth are in a sauna while the rest freezes. The design of this product provides enough heat transfer to keep your mouth and nose cool but not cold. Finally a winter product designed and tested by people living in cold climates.
