LESS FILTER MATERIAL AND CARBON IN NEW FILTERS
New filters are of inferior quality to the old ones. I just received a new four pack and couldn't believe how much the quality of the OEM filters had dropped. The new filter has 30 filter media pleats (visible) compared to 37 on its old version. That's 20% LESS filter material. This equates to shorter filter life AND less airflow than an OEM filter. The new filter also has significantly less activated carbon. I've attached photos showing examples of what I'm seeing. Not good value for money. update ahead.
