I bought this grill to cover the underside of our RV door screen so my dogs wouldn't accidentally walk through and throw it out. It looks like it would, but there are some cosmetic things that I noticed now that I've installed it. Installation was easy. I put the grille in place, marked 4 corners with a pencil, then pre-drilled the holes and screwed the grille to the door. Very easy. However, when I attached the grille to the door, I noticed that the heart shape in the center of the grille was upside down. No problem, I took it off, flipped it over and put it back on. That's when I noticed that the entire radiator grille wasn't painted black. The inside of the rail, on which the grate center slides, is unpainted and has the color of raw aluminium. Noticing this, I got up on the ground and looked at the inside of the other rail, and it's painted black, so maybe that grille is supposed to be mounted upside down with the heart? Either that or the QC was wrong when mine crossed the line. The curved parts in the middle also feel plastic to me. I can't confirm if it's plastic or aluminum but it's not what I had in mind when I ordered it. However, I have a feeling that it will still serve its intended purpose. However, at $50, I wish it was a little more substantial than it is. And then there's the rumble. As the center piece slides back and forth on the side rails, it rattles as the door opens and closes. And although the box includes 4 screws to attach the grill, there is no other hardware that will help solve the rattle problem, but the instructions printed on the box indicate that you can purchase a few more screws to help to fix the middle. a slide designed to reduce rattling and make the whole grill more stable. I'll eventually go to a hardware store and get 4 more screws and make that adjustment, but it would be nice if it already included 4 more screws (considering it's $50 and 4 more screws would only be a pair ). kopecks.) In any case, overall I am satisfied with the purchase. As I said above, it should do the job we had planned, but it's not everything I expected, especially for the cost. I think $20-25 would be a fair price. Edit to add multiple photos. The first is outside, the second with the door open. Despite the blemishes mentioned above, I was very satisfied with this product.
