Review on Swann SWDVK 849808 Security Channel Surveillance by Tony Elliott

I bought this device in April and spent a lot of time familiarizing myself with all its characteristics. About two years ago I installed Swann for my sister and we had a night owl that we brought back to Costco. What I found with this device is that the product information is not entirely accurate. The PIR/Motion sensor captures the movement of the smallest leaves, allowing you to record many events. The field of motion is very narrow. It has a pre-record option enabled, but I haven't seen where it records before the event. My sister has a cheaper Swann and it prerecords 5 seconds before the motion alarm goes off. Push notifications are not consistent. And now we have a warranty issue with a camera not working properly. On the other hand, the video is very clear. The Home Safe app works well, although I prefer the Swann Safe app. The device does what we planned, but I wanted a device that wouldn't record every movement as we have a strong wind. This device does not meet my expectations.
