Since having both knee replacements and a broken ankle (now with a plate and 6 screws) my feet have changed drastically. I have worn 12D shoes for most of my adult life, but now I have to wear 13W shoes. I first bought the white version of these and found them very comfortable for everyday wear, so I went for these black models. They cost a little more than "regular" athletic shoes, but the difference is huge. Highly recommended for people with foot/ankle problems.
