DO NOT BUY READ FIRST!

This product seems good for the price. HOWEVER, I bought and installed this part in September. It's now November 14th, exactly a week ago, I was driving to school and I heard a knock, I thought, disgusting. I thought it was either piston knock or rod knock but my engine was not giving any codes. I decided my car wasn't safe to drive so I took it apart in the school lot to see if I could figure it out, when I removed the timing case cover I saw that the timing belt tensioner bolt had come loose. The tensioner broke off and rocked back and forth, hitting the block and crankshaft pulley. It ended up costing me about $200 to fix everything because I didn't want to buy the out of autozone kit which was $220 with the water pump and all. So I had to buy it along with new parts and fluids, timing cover and gaskets, it cost me a little over $500 total. And I got lucky just because I was somehow able to get the other half of the bolt out of my block (it took part of the aluminum block with it) but when I tried to bring my car home the tensioner would end Wearing a cover and the timing belt would come loose and DESTROY my engine. So what did we learn in this class? Don't trust this product, buy genuine parts from your local auto parts store or even from a dealer. After all, it saves you money and has a guarantee. I would like my money back, but that's probably not going to happen. Please take my advice and do not buy this product. (I will add photos as soon as I get home from school. (I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy either.)
