DO NOT BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS --- This multicooker is excellent! 1. Yes, the aluminum case is heated externally. But not so hot that it burns you unless you've tried or you're extremely stupid! 2. FOOD DON'T COOK. I poured 4 cups of water into my new pot, turned it on high and let it sit for 4 hours. The water was very hot but never boiled. 3. Coverage. The lid is made of glass, just as strong and stable as my other multi cookers. Gasket seals well for ease of transportation. And the locking levers are securely fixed. I haven't had any problems with Molten Pens or anything else. The price is very, very attractive - I bought mine used from Revain. The packaging was badly crumpled BUT the pan is intact and in perfect condition. The manual heat control works just as well as my other digital multi cooker. And I suspect it will be much more reliable. WRITE HONEST REVIEWS. I do not blame the product for my own stupidity or not reading the instructions as others might. BUY IT - IT WILL DO EVERYTHING A MULTICOOKER SHOULD BE FOR. AND YOU CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE!
