Don't skimp on hardware
I used to have cheap screws; so cheap that the heads of the screws broke during installation. These Fireball bolts were strong and durable. My build was a vintage board from the 70's and the holes in the deck didn't quite line up. I used a rubber mallet to gently tap the truck onto the deck, afraid the bolts would break, but they held! It had solid threads on the bolts as well as the nuts that came with it.
