to replace a 50 year old version of the same Sink. The old sink had a rectangular overflow and a tiny drain hole in the center that was too small for a modern three hole faucet. The old sink detached, unplugged and then wiggled, pulled the Back up (there were no screws through the porcelain).The glaze on this sink was not entirely uniform on top, mainly due to some surface irregularities on top.Quality was about 15-20 percent lower than a replacement sink that was still usable after 50 years was - good enough For the money that's a great sink from Ty p "Sink” or "Toilet at the gas station”. Modern 1-1/4" drain fittings and typical three-hole faucet fittings are fine with no leaks or mechanical issues. back to prevent sink from sliding up for removal. The people who installed the same type of 50 year old sink grouted and tiled the sink in place so we had to remove the tiles to allow the old sink to get in. We had to replace the shutoff valves and install a drain in the wall.
