I have been mountain biking and road cycling for almost 25 years and have used almost all types of bike wall mounts. I am very impressed with this wall mounted bike stand. I live in a small house that doesn't have a lot of storage space for my bikes, so they have to be hung on the walls. I wanted a wall rack that I can rack bikes on and off frequently and that won't start to fail over time. This shelf is very well made, very stable and looks really nice. Installation is relatively easy, the only part that requires some planning is mounting it to the wall. I was going through drywall so with the help of a nail finder I was able to find the nail. I had a fairly heavy full suspension mountain bike hanging from this rack and the rack holds the weight with no problem. It doesn't sag or bend at all, it's very durable. A few notes: • There is some padding in the area where the bike rests on the rack to avoid scratching the frame. This is a nice feature. • There are multiple ways to quickly adjust this rack so you can adapt it to any size and style bike for a secure fit. • There is also a horizontal adjustment that adjusts how far the bike is from the wall. I have the widest bars you can find and there is just enough room when the stance is fully adjusted. It doesn't have to be mounted nearly as far on my road bike. • All hardware on this luggage rack is first class, every bolt and part is of the highest quality. • You must spend some time looking for a hairpin. for wall mounting or use the included drywall anchors.
