does not work as a data cable. but good long power cord

later when I use this for my iPad Pro with my Macbook there doesn't seem to be any data transfer. Power is transmitted normally, but the computer does not recognize the iPad. good long cable. . . but not that helpful

Makes a true USB 3 connection. some cables do not but this cable actually does.
