The IR gun didn't work when I first got it and I had to keep removing the battery to reset it. Complete failure a week after receipt. The features were NOT impressive but if a working product came out I would contribute more. The physical thermometer also seems to have issues with inaccurate temperature readings when testing meat. Variations are normal, but read at 130F and read 210F a minute later. Needless to say, the steak was very well (over)done. I don't think I will buy from this manufacturer. All come from China and are all the same only supposedly from different companies. I hope one of the companies got it right.
