I have been using these "colored pencils" for many years. still have some of these for over 20 years. Even if they break, you can still use them. hard to describe as there are both dry and wet environments. Colors can be changed from opaque to translucent with a wet brush. YOU control the surface and the effect. It's almost impossible to "overwork" since a wet sponge can be your eraser. they awaken the artist in you.
