At first we really liked this rug. My little boys and I "colored" and drew on so much. I loved the ease of just using water and not having to worry about the paints messing up my white walls and carpet. The kit includes stencils in different styles, stamps, a good set of water pens and brushes, and even a book showing how to draw simple pictures. The size of the mat was amazing as we could all draw on it at the same time. My boys especially enjoyed playing archaeologists and finding hidden dinosaurs and letters of the alphabet. It held her attention for 40-45 minutes which I think is a win. However, after using it three times and letting the mat air dry, I still have water stains that won't go away. I'm very disappointed with this as it was a Christmas present and I had high hopes for it based on all the good reviews.
