I got this as a stereo replacement for an old unit that no longer works and also as a cheap setup for jamming my bass. home so I would have had to lug my proper gear back and forth from the jampad for the same amount of time. Obviously this isn't a professional device and I'll rate it accordingly for the low budget gadget that it is. As a stereo, it's more than loud enough for where I am and what I need, and the sound quality is pretty good. . There is nothing to complain about in terms of sound quality. Better than I actually expected. It has a built-in fan that is a bit noisy when it's running and you turn off the music, but that's not a problem for me. Bluetooth is pretty handy. I use it quite often to play along and learn songs. I've hooked up some drum loops to play around with when I'm fooling around. The bass through them sounds pretty decent. I don't usually push it too hard, but I've cranked it up a few times because it's half the fun of making thunder. With a bit of fiddling with the EQ, I ended up with a pretty sloppy tone that I dug and rattled through every window in the house. It's not something I'd take to a concert, but it's great for making noise and playing at home, or for a casual jam session with friends. I got a lot more bang for my buck than if I bought a small $100 workout amp combo. It has a line out that I can use for home recording. I may never have played with it, but I think it's cool that it's there. You can connect to this thing in any number of ways you can think of. I've had her for about a month now and I really couldn't be happier with her. It performs the functions I received it for. Received this open box as a new $90 offer. I didn't have super high hopes because it seemed too cheap. I'm going to give it 5 stars because the utility/features to value ratio is just so damn good. Hopefully after a few weeks it won't randomly stop working and force me to come back to collect the awards I'm collecting. Do you see what I did there?
