This bulb is actually very good, mimics the look of my original halogen bulb very well with a realistic warm glow. The good thing about the LED version is that it doesn't heat up at all, my own bulb got very hot. I have the new one all day and it even feels slightly warm. One thing to note, if your light has a high and low setting like mine, both settings show the same brightness, it can't go. brighter than my original halogen bulb. But in my opinion it doesn't matter as I used low settings most of the time. Just something to note. I think it could be a little less bright, but that's not a problem, I'll settle for that any day. I can't comment on its loneliness as I've only been using it for a few days. I can say that my hologen lasted for more than 4 years of continuous use. I hope this one lasts as long or longer. Will post again if there are problems. At the moment I would say this is a fantastic replacement, see photos, it is very close in size and shape to the original lamp it replaced. I think it's worth a try. I don't think you will be disappointed.
