Review on ☕ Optimal Brew Thermal System Coffee Maker by Mr. Coffee - 10 Cup Capacity by Sara Bertrand

To start with this review I have owned this coffee maker since October 2015 and use it almost daily so my opinion is based on around 4 1/2 years of use. A couple of points: This coffee maker is a reliable machine. For a mid-range coffee maker, it does the job of brewing coffee at the right temperature, and does it quickly. convenient, especially because you don't have to guess with the stainless steel carafe that comes with this machine. The carafe keeps your coffee hot for a long time, but it is difficult to clean because the opening is very small. It's not impossible, but a bit cumbersome. What cannot be cleaned is the lid! It has so many little crevices that can only be cleaned well with Qtip. I'm sure if you give it a good rinse after each use it will stay clean for a while, but if you let the coffee dry frequently it will have hard-to-reach deposits. There is a steam hole. on the back of the machine that puts out a lot of vapor and tends to drip a bit. It's really only a few drops, but I suppose that's what the other reviews are talking about when they say it's leaking. The place where the coffee grounds container is located in the machine can also be difficult to clean. The display is so dimmed it's hardly a fantasy at the moment, but the buttons still work, so, uh. The carbon filter is a nice touch. Overall it has a few quirks, mainly in terms of maintenance, but the thing has served me well and consistently delivered good results. Coffee. Read the instructions, clean it regularly and you are guaranteed to get good coffee.
