This is a very nice hat, but it is only a fashion accessory. In other words, if you're in cold weather, you bought the wrong fabric. I bought this knit hat for winter. Use thinking cotton wouldn't cause as much static electricity in my hair. Well, I was right about the electricity, but the wind just blows through this hat like a hairnet. So if you style and look like Edge from U2 this is your beanie, but if you want a warm beanie choose wool or fleece. I gave it 5 stars because It's quality material if you want to be "cool" and not warm.
