Review on HONOR Band 5 Global Smart Bracelet, Black by Wiktor Janic ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm very happy, it really is worth buying.

It is not Honor's responsibility, but Google Fit does not offer a lot of flexibility. Google Fit is aware of the bracelet application; however, it does not load all of the data from it. This is really disappointing. Their application (like "health") is on fire, as demonstrated by testing on my mother's iPhone. All of the data, as well as data from other apps (such pressure readings from an Omron and weight readings from scales), and data pertaining to attractiveness in general, are retrieved. The end effect is that I am happy with everything because it meets my needs. I required a device that could monitor my heart rate throughout the day, my sleep, the number of steps I took, an elliptical, be more or less waterproof, have no unexplained disconnects, and have a charge for more than three days. My hopes were fulfilled by the bracelet.

Pros
  • 1. IP68 dust/water proof. I didn't even attempt to swim with them, but while my kid is taking a bath, not only can I confidently put my hand in the water while wearing a watch, but I can even take a tranquil shower. For the sake of comparison, my mother poured water into the gadget while bathing her grandchild while wearing a watch that was made by a different company and had an IP67 rating (slightly inferior water protection). (Everything worked out in the end, but the discomforting fogging of the screen from the inside continued for several days). 2. Maintains a standard grip on the bluetooth device. If it loses its bluetooth connection (while moving away from the phone), it will reconnect normally once it is brought closer to the phone. In most cases, this takes place in an apartment, which features solid walls and a generous amount of living space. Even if there is a lot of background noise or the phone is set to mute, the bluetooth connection does not break down when it is in close proximity to the phone and I am aware that they are calling or writing to me. 3. A standard option for the dials. After reading the evaluations, which stated that there were a limited number of dials and no options, I decided to get it for the new year of 2022. It would appear that the reviews are out of date because there were already dials for the ng 2022. There were definitely more than five of them, but I didn't count exactly how many there were—maybe fifty. 4. A pulse oximeter is available for use. What a wonderful present for the year 2022. This past year I was diagnosed with pneumonia, and the pulse oximeter revealed a reading of less than 95. Before I became ill, it had consistently shown 98, and I had the impression that it had always shown in that manner. But no. 5. I am pleased with the program because it accommodates my preferences. (sleep, pulse, steps). It was necessary for me to have an elliptical cross trainer. Even if you do not log into the application for an entire week, the data for the preceding days will still be in their proper places. It would appear that the bracelet loads them at regular intervals. 6. I am unable to determine how many steps there are because there is nothing to gauge them against. However, even if you move your arms while lying on the couch, those steps won't count toward your total. Additionally, he will write in an hour if you do not move for an hour (provided that you allow this feature in the settings). 7. It has a battery life of five days on a single charge and can measure your heart rate continuously as well as monitor your sleep. Rapidly charges the device. 8. You're not allowed to scratch for the next six months.
Cons
  • 1. Strap. It does not come undone, everything is OK, and it maintains its hold extremely well. On the other hand, the interior is not corrugated but rather smooth. There are no grooves present that could be used for ventilation. There are a lot of holes in it, but they weren't able to save me (the bracelet doesn't spin on my arm). In any case, I had irritation since the skin underneath the strap wasn't able to breathe properly. The issue was resolved over time without further incident. Either the skin became accustomed to it or I began to treat the silicone of the strap with chlorhexidine water every couple of days (it's now become a habit). 2. The smart alarm (which should determine the best moment in the time span to get you up) only roused me to consciousness one time in total. According to the plan, I should have been in a deep sleep, but the bracelet apparently thought there was nothing it could do to wake up a person who was already awake. At the very least, he woke up at the conclusion of the period of time that was mentioned, but not at all. Take care when adjusting this parameter.
