Not just off-road/auxiliary/fog lights
My friend was worried that he forgot to turn off the backlight. It has automatic headlights, so I suggested this suspension. We dropped the button and connected the trigger wire (white) from the relay to the positive side of his parking lights. If he doesn't turn on the headlights manually and ignores turning on the headlights with the ignition off, he no longer has to worry. A nice side effect is that if he opens the car with the key fob, his car will greet him with a backlight.
