The shoes are a bit big but the width is good. I bought these for a trip to Mexico after reading that the sandy beach in front of the all inclusive resort was pretty good. My issue with the shoe and the reason for the 2 stars is that after the first time in the water the glue holding the sole to the sole base didn't work causing the insert to slide under the arches of my feet. To make the repairs, I had to take a cab to Walmart in a nearby town for a flexible, waterproof adhesive. During the repair, I noticed how little glue was used in the factory assembly, which was undoubtedly the cause of the failure. Luckily the glue I found worked great and I've been using it for a few days now with no problems. If the repair couldn't be done I would definitely give this one 1 star, but since I can still use the shoe (albeit after the repair) I'm giving it 2 stars. Maybe my pair was an anomaly. I wish you success. Get some glue, just in case.
