I was looking for a pair of rose gold hoop earrings and they are very cute. Love the fact that they are rose gold plated sterling silver and not copper. However, the color seemed more copper than pink to me. I asked a relative what color they were and she immediately replied "they are rose gold" so I think the problem is me, not the earrings. I don't have a lot of rose gold, so maybe I just don't know what I want it to look like. These earrings are very light and easy to wear. I don't even feel like I'm wearing them. You can sleep in it but I wouldn't recommend it. Why risk breaking the clasp? I don't like these types of fasteners as much as other types of fasteners because I find them more difficult to fasten. At least for me. You can be different and love this type of clasp. It's just a matter of personal preference. I really love hoop earrings and most of them seem to be locked this way. I had absolutely no irritation from these earrings, but I must add that I don't have sensitive ears at all. These earrings are cute enough and small enough to wear every day. I wear mine with shorts, trousers, to the office or to a casual date with my partner, but if I'm going to a formal event I'd wear something dressier. These earrings are not very expensive but that's what I was looking for. I tend to lose earrings, especially if I wear them for a long time. If I were to lose a solid gold pair I would be out of the hundreds; If I lose one of these, I can easily replace them. These are not solid earrings; They are quite skinny, small hoops, but very cute, not pretentious at all. However, they are tall enough to be seen and I have long hair. My wins are very shiny and they stayed shiny and very pretty. (If they tarnish, you can wipe them off with a very soft cloth. And remember that hairspray, cosmetics, perfumes, moisturizers, etc. will definitely stain some metals.) A gift especially for a young woman or girl. I think you get value for money with these earrings. (I often spend more time in a famous coffee shop in the mornings and don't even drink coffee.) They look like gold, but the price doesn't come close to that of a solid gold pair. I have a young niece who loves roses. gold so I can buy her a pair and I have an elderly relative who also loves rose gold. It will also be a good gift for her. I expect these earrings will be of great use. If you are looking for a small rose gold ring that is not solid and want something very affordable then these earrings are perfect.
