Funny looks, fun to work with, great price!

These exceptionally bright mini white bulbs have SO MUCH POTENTIAL built into two strands of clear coated flexible wire. I didn't buy them for any particular reason, just to try. I recently bought a similar multi colored light filament locally from another manufacturer and I liked the look of it so I wanted to get the white ones. I am very happy with the quality of these white lights for the price I paid considering there are so many uses for them. In my opinion, the colored ones I bought locally are not as good as the white ones. When inspiration struck I took some green and yellow (my favorite colors from the NFL football team) Pebeo Vitrea 160 lens paint. I was thrilled with the end result! The best part about this particular project is that I'm now done with the light filament I could use a soft cloth dampened with very warm water, wrap the cloth around a knot of light for a few minutes and remove the paint! It came off easily and the filament went back to warm white bulbs! Since these bulbs do not get hot (heat bakes and makes such paint permanent), the paint can be peeled off. If you decide to try this project yourself, be aware that it will require some patience and a gentle touch as a creative person I like the idea that Vitrea 160 has such a wide variety of paint colors, I can custom color threads for almost any reason manufacture! While this is not a review of the Vitrea 160, I will share another use for it: it can be used to turn white C-7 or C-9 bulbs for Christmas lights to any color you want or want! However, since the old fashioned version of these lamps are usually warm/hot to the touch, the paint will stick to it and not come off. White replacement bulbs are much easier to find than colored bulbs, especially at the end of the season. My current use of the string lights: I have old blue glass cans on a shelf in my kitchen and the string lays on the shelf in a swirling shape, illuminating the cans from below. In my opinion they look very nice. If I could change one thing about these string lights it would be that the battery compartment is a bit large compared to the size of the string as they run on 3 AA batteries. However, the battery compartment is transparent, which makes it look a little less harsh than black. There's a decent amount of connecting wire between the box and the first light node, making it pretty easy to hide the box. Would I buy them again? Definitive.
